There are many youth organisations to chose from, such as sports clubs, service clubs and educational programs.
As volunteers, we salute these organisations for their work with young people.
The Scouting programme goes above and beyond and provides activities that:
- encourage scouts to try new things,
- nurture a love for the outdoors,
- advocate service to others,
- build self-confidence,
- foster new friendships,
- emphasise teamwork,
- cultivate citizenship,
- promote leadership skills, and most importantly,
- are LOTS of fun!
Scouts aim to follow the Scout Oath, Scout Law, Scout Motto and Scout Sloganin the hopes that this prepares young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime by instilling in them these values.
If you are between the ages of
11-17 and live in
Geneva,
Western Vaud, or
Neighbouring France, why not join Troop 77?
We are the oldest BSA Troop in the Geneva area. We work together with Troop 130, whose members are based mostly in Vaud (between Commugny and Nyon) and Neighbouring France. If you are younger, look into joining Geneva's cub Scout Pack (Pack 130 Geneva).
To find out more about Troop 77 and the Scouting program in the Lac Léman region have a look through our website, follow us on facebook, contact our Scoutmasters (Chris Land-Kazlauskas: anfieldyank@hotmail.com or Christer Malmberg: drchmalmberg@gmail.com), or come out to an event.
To join the troop for the first time, or reregister, you can fill download and fill out the applications below and return them to the Troop. Returning scouts can login to my.scouting.org and enter their details and pay part of their dues on
